Helping young professionals succeed in work and life
Dear members of Emergen!
Left Right Think-Tank has an exciting opportunity we wanted to share with you. We are offering 10 young Victorians the chance to participate in our Fellowships program! Left Right Think-Tank’s fellowships program is a leadership and policy program, designed to equip young people with the skills they need to create real change in society!
The program for the first half of 2011 is being run in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. A team of fellows in each city will create, under the guidance of our senior policy staff a report that provides clear recommendations on an issue that each team is passionate about.
The program is funded by the government, and gives the participants a chance to
- Network with other young leaders striving to create change in Australia and the world
- Attend 4 seminars where they will engage with our senior policy staff and expert speakers around how to create real change in Australian society
- Learn about the mechanics of change through policy in a series of interactive workshops
- Gain mentorship from Left Right staff
- Draft a policy on an issue they care about
- Be awarded an opportunity to attend an all expenses paid trip to Canberra to present their policy piece!
We are recruiting fellows to be a part of this fantastic opportunity, and wanted to let the Emergen community know! If you know of anyone who would be interested in our program, please feel free to direct them to our webite!
