Helping young professionals succeed in work and life

So I'm always blogging about entrepreneurship and doing your own thing and some of you might be thinking "what are you actually doing?" I've been putting off talking about my projects because none of them were properly impletmented yet so I guess here is the first one that I am working on :D.

I have partnered up with a few people to start up a comedy website called LOL 24 Seven. The idea behind this website is to create a platform so that local artists/ comedians and so on to get exposure for their work.

To start it off, I have come up with ideas for a bunch of "that's what she said" comics to get things started, however we'll slowly be sourcing out more content for the site. Currently my team and I are developing ideas for more comics and videos to be made and I am also on the lookout to partner up with other local artists to provide exposure for their work.

What I hope to achieve with this website is to be able to draw enough traffic to this site so that I can later monetize it through selling merchandise, strategic advertising and sponsorships. The money gained from monetization will be used to compensate all artists and personnel that have contributed to the website. That way, artists can make money from the work they do and will be able to continue doing what they enjoy with less monetary concerns and also to reward all the people that have volunteered their time into this project. We will also be looking to partner with charities to help them increase awareness for their cause and also donate money to them.

My vision is to be able to create an "everybody wins" business model so that all stakeholders of this website will be rewarded for their contribution. For the target market (even though I really do believe it is very hard to define a market for this content) it would be primarily 18-35 year old males with interest in slapstick humour.

Anyway the website is www.lol24-7.com if you like what you see please do share it on your facebook or email it to a friend, if not then thanks for taking time to view it anyway.

Still working on another project as well and will talk about that soon.

Thanks for reading!

Peace

Hi Aaron I know a lovely comedian who moved here from Melbourne a little while ago. I had the pleasure of doing her makeup for an upcoming show. Let me know if you'd like her contact details
