I am now the Convenor of the United Nations Association of Australia (WA) Environment Committee in Perth. I am looking interested individuals who are keen to be part of this committee.

Please PM me your interest or if you require more information.

Hi Guys!
Power Shift, AYCC’s massive youth summit, is coming to Western Australia for the first time at the end of September and we need your help!

In the next two weeks, we’re building the Power Shift Field Team - a group of 100 of the most passionate, enthusiastic young people in WA to help organise and recruit for Power Shift. Join the Field Team - click here to find out more!

This is one of the best opportunities going around. As a Field Coordinator, you’ll get a transformational 2-day training in mid-August with Australia’s best campaigners, Exclusive access to Field HQ, and leadership roles during Power Shift. And the best part? You’ll get to transform Power Shift from a vision into a reality.

Applications are open until 5th August, so get in quick and apply at powershift.org.au/field-team.
Hope you can join us!

If you're into being a true emerging leader and want the feel-good warm-fuzzies of making a real difference too, YouthTree have the perfect volunteer positions in almost every area imaginable. We dream of a world where volunteering is as mainstream as cheeseburgers and breathing. If you want to be a part of making that world a reality, Big Help Mob have just opened 13(!) different positions to satisfy your every whim - from training to PR, logistics to social media, copywriting to research - there's something to suit you; wherever your grand plans are going to take you.

If you want to be a part of a youth-led organisation that is all about fun making a difference and, and you are a 16 - 30 year old who is passionate, creative, hard working and friendly (read: if you're a nerd with social skills), don't hesitate!

Hi everyone,

Please check out Gihan's recent post called 'Are Gen Y's hypocritical or maybe just ineffective?'. It has a link to an interesting article about green hypocrisy amongst Gen Y and I'd be interested in your thoughts. Perhaps you could comment on Gihan's post.

Also how did the Sustainability day below go?

Cheers,

Alicia
