Event Description

Want to get more active on climate change in WA?

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition’s (AYCC) mission is to build a generation wide movement to solve the climate crisis. In just one year, AYCC WA has grown from a small group of like-minded people to a broad grassroots movement that has empowered thousands of young people across the state.

2012 is sure to be an even more incredible year, and we’re looking for people to fill these key roles:

  • School Presenter-Mentors – work within a team to deliver inspiring climate change presentations to high school students, connect interested school students together to start school climate groups and provide them with ongoing mentoring.

  • Grassroots Support Team – join a team that is mentoring and supporting our network of grassroots youth climate groups that are actively creating change in their communities.

  • Fundraising Coordinator – work with the state hub and national team to develop a fundraising strategy for local fundraising activities to support our climate campaigns and trainings.

Go to www.aycc.org.au/perth to learn more about the positions and apply.

Applications close on Sunday 26th February- so get involved, make friends, learn skills and create a change!

Sandy, Nick and the whole AYCC WA team!
