It's the last Perth Green Drinks for 2011, and we've got a great talk lined up for you this month. Enjoy a drink and some snacks with us before the festive season begins and we break for summer holidays.
Guest Speakers
Susan Broughton, Certified Financial Planner, Certified Responsible Investment Adviser and Founding Director of Australia's first Ethical Advisers' Co-operative along with James Baird, Certified Responsible Investment Adviser and Authorised Representative of JustInvest Financial Planning will be giving an introduction to responsible investment (also known as ethical investment, green investment, and SRI) in Australia.
This presentation is an overview of responsible investment in Australia and what groups exist to support this. They will demonstrate the ability of responsible investment to provide competitive returns and provide useful information about taking control of your investments. There will also be concrete examples of how responsible investment can and does make a difference to a company's bottom line and to your investments without compromising on your ability to generate a positive return from your investments.
FREE! Please RSVP to greendrinks.perth@gmail.com by Thursday 24th November so we can organise enough food and drink for everyone.
